Product Support is considered a key factor within the strategy of the company. All products in fact should have the maximum optimised level of supportability.
Secondo Mona S.p.A. product support organisation consists of an experienced team who guarantees a continuous support and dialogue with the Customers and the end Users. This is achieved by applying the basic principles of the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), suitably optimised with respect to the nature of the products being supported.
To achieve and fulfil all the product support requirement and objectives, the support methods are constantly monitored through the continuous improvement process and the continue training of the product support staff.

Product support activities

  • Technical publications, initial provisioning lists (IPL), and service bulletins

  • Customer training courses

  • Support to Customers on Secondo Mona products

  • Support to Maintenance Repair and Overhaul activities within Secondo Mona

  • Negotiation and management of Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) with the foreign original manufacturers (OEM) for their products serviced by Secondo Mona

  • Production and management of logistic support documentation and data (logistic support analysis, maintainability, testability data, in-service data collection etc.).

  • Liaison visits and field assistance

  • Support on defect investigations

  • Participation to national and international projects in the field of the technical documentation and product support.

Close co-operation with the Customers enables the company to provide support planning and verified technical documentation and data from the prototype phase right through the in-service phase of an aircraft.
Close liaison is constantly maintained by the product support department with engineering, production and quality to guarantee an exchange of information and to propose product improvements based on actual in-service experience.

Technical Publications

All technical publications data are produced in house with the use of the most advanced software and methods. The output is in conformance to ATA Specification i2100 (formerly ATA100) or S1000D. All texts are written according to ASD Simplified Technical English, Specification ASD-STE100. Initial Provisioning Data are produced according to ASD Specification S2000M.

Training Courses

"Hands-On" Training Courses on Secondo Mona Equipment are offered to our Customers. Training service is supported by nearly 30 years of experience in Product Support.
Secondo Mona offers, upon request, Training Courses on the ASD Simplified Technical English, ASD-STE100. This is supported by many years of experience and involvement in ASD STE-100 since the very beginning of the Project.
