SECONDO MONA first adopted the philosophy and methods of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream and Lean Supply Chain in 2003 when it participated as the only Italian supplier in a Lean Supply Chain Program driven in the UK by one of its Customers.
Since then, SECONDO MONA has implemented several internal workshops of Continuous Improvement , Value Stream and Lean Manufacturing and has launched and managed two major Lean Supply Chain Programs that have involved around 20 selected Suppliers according to its Procurement Strategy.
SECONDO MONA has managed throughout the years a change in organisation and culture that, together with the increased efficiency and flow of its manufacturing techniques, have allowed the Company to remain competitive on the market and gain new business.
Cascading the knowledge to its local supplier base to improve their own working practices in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery has further enhanced SECONDO MONA’s improvement process contributing to its success in the global market.
